This Wednesday, August 30, McCluer clubs will be participating in a Club Fair hosted by the library. Joining an after school club is a great way to meet friends or find friends who have the same interests. Clubs cover a wide range of interests from academic type clubs like “DECA, a business club” to community service clubs like “Key Club,” to personal interests like “Game Club.” Most clubs meet after school on days when the activity bus is available for students to ride home at 3:30. If a club doesn’t meet after school, they might meet during advisory once or twice a month. Clubs members and/or sponsors will be present to answer questions and tell students about the various clubs at school. Students can pick up information and seek information about clubs they have heard of but don’t really know much about. Some clubs even have snacks, which are always needed right after school. All clubs will have a sign up sheet near their station so students who are interested in joining can receive more information about club meetings through their school email. Please come out and get involved.
