stipulate
1. to make an express demand or arrangement as a condition of agreement (often followed by for).
Example: She stipulated for flip-flops to be a requirement of the dress code.
2. to arrange expressly or specify in terms of agreement.
Example: Before agreeing to let Tre take the car, his mom stipulated many conditions for his night out with the car.
